Valentine's Day Edition
/In the spirit of Valentine's Day taking over all aspects of our lives (and our wallets) I figured I'd send out some wines that you should enjoy if you're planning on chilling with your bae or like me, just rocking out in your snuggie eating popcorn!
1) Robert Sinskey Vin Gris 2013 Rosé – Robert Sinskey is one of my favorite producers out of California and his Rosé is something spectacular. This rosés style is dry and it’s made from Pinot Noir grapes. It’s light, floral, refreshing and just sooooo tasty. It’s a perfect wine to pair with prosciutto and cheese or even with some fish tacos. Buy this rosé NOW!
2) Clos De Los Siete 2010 – Ok, so I love a good Malbec. The wines are approachable, they’re tasty and they can be really affordable. Most of the best Malbec’s from Argentina are from the Mendoza region and this is a good one. This full-bodied Mendoza Malbec blend has spicy and floral aromas, balanced acidity and a smooth velvety texture. Put down your iphone and grab some dark chocolate with sea salt because, DAMN, this wine goes so well with it. It’s also really good with red meat dishes.
3) Lioco Sonoma County Chardonnay 2013 – Uhhh can we say amazing. This isn’t your normal California Chardonnay, which is usually very oaky and buttery. Lioco’s Chardonnay is bright, crisp and has some awesome citrus and tropical fruit flavors. It can easily be paired with both white or milk chocolate and also light dishes like chicken or a white fish.
4) NV Billecart-Salmon Brut Champagne - Champagne and strawberries is all I have to say, boom!
You lovely people have a great V-Day.
As always if you’ve liked what you read or have any questions, just shoot me an email. Stay tuned!
